
CAO CHOCOLATE BAR
This project revolved around creating a chocolate brand with a luxurious identity while including art nouveau elements in a modern take that used repeating rhythms and flowing organic lines. One of the challenges included working with shapes to create movement in action. To combat this, I opted to use circles to create a flow of movement as they are easier on the eyes than triangles or other shapes.
As for the main subject of the chocolate bar, I was inspired to illustrate two love birds leaning in to give each other a peck, giving the chocolate bar an intimate moment. I also included a few hearts in the chocolate's packaging design to reference this special moment between the two birds, which references the action of love. The final assets include the packaging design of the chocolate bar, a tote bag, and a mug.
